Step into a timeless ritual of grace and delight at the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse. Each afternoon, the clink of porcelain cups and the aroma of freshly brewed teas create a serene pause from the bustle of the day. Our Afternoon Tea is offered daily with a 24 hour advance reservation, featuring a curated selection of fine teas paired with an elegant tier of savory finger sandwiches, delicate pastries, and house-made scones served with jam and clotted cream — an indulgence meant to be lingered over and savored.

For those who prefer a more global twist on teatime, we also offer a Dim Sum Teatime on select weekends. Inspired by the lively tea houses of southern China, this menu celebrates the joyful tradition of sharing small, artful plates. Sip fragrant teas while sampling an array of handcrafted dumplings, steamed buns, and other seasonal bites, each chosen to harmonize beautifully with our teas. It’s an opportunity to gather, slow down, and experience the art of tea in its many forms.

Dim Sum Teatime

Offered select weekends — Reservations open 60 days in advance

Experience an unforgettable twist on afternoon tea with our Dim Sum Teatime at the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse. This special service features an elegant presentation of tea-infused dim sum delicacies paired with premium oolong teas, creating a flavorful and adventurous journey for the senses.

Dim Sum Teatime is offered on select weekends, twice a month, and is $30 per guest. Due to its popularity, reservations are required and open 60 days in advance. If a date is fully booked, you may request to join our waitlist by emailing us directly.

Please note: Cancellations made within 72 hours of your reservation will incur a $7.50 cancellation fee per guest.

Additional Details: Reservations are required 24 hours in advance because we will be baking fresh for you the morning of your tea. We welcome parties of all sizes! We also offer a premium Children’s Afternoon Tea perfect for birthday parties – please call us for details and to reserve an Afternoon Tea reservation, we do not accept Afternoon Tea reservations online.

Dietary Restrictions: We accommodate dietary restrictions and food sensitivities. Please update any dietary information 48 hours prior to your reservations. We will not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions on the day of your event. All gluten free tea reservations are an additional $3 for gluten free substitutions.
